VeryNile The Bupa Foundation is supporting VeryNile’s dual-purpose project to empower local communities on Qursaya Island and aid environmental conservation in the Nile. By revitalizing agricultural land, the project will provide free, locally sourced meals for 180 fishermen who collect plastic from the Nile and those in need, while also training locals in sustainable agriculture and food preparation.

Additionally, the project funds the restoration of 40 traditional wooden fishing boats, ensuring these eco-friendly vessels remain operational for Nile clean-up efforts. Through these initiatives, the Bupa Foundation and VeryNile aim to foster sustainable livelihoods, enhance food security, and support environmental conservation in the region.
